Nature's Storehouse Gratitude Through Giving

Annual Thanksgiving Fundraiser to Benefit GardenShare’s Bonus Buck Program

CANTON – Nature's Storehouse and GardenShare are inviting customers to support the Bonus Bucks Program during the Thanksgiving season. From November 1 to 27, customers will be asked if they’d like to make a donation to GardenShare while checking out.

Joining Nature’s Storehouse in this season of giving is a local anonymous donor who will contribute a match incentive of $500: for every dollar raised at checkout, they will donate a matching dollar.

The Gratitude through Giving fundraiser supports GardenShare's Bonus Buck Program, which offers a cost-sharing arrangement to income eligible St. Lawrence County residents to participate in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share or to purchase at St. Lawrence County farmers markets.

"Many people feel that healthy food is inaccessible. We are inspired by the work that GardenShare does to help ensure access to healthy food, and we are proud to partner with them in this fundraising effort," said Patti Mason, the general manager of Nature's Storehouse.

GardenShare works to promote a local food system that ensures food security for all St. Lawrence County residents. Learn more about their programs that support "Healthy Food, Healthy Farms, Everybody Eats" at http://www.GardenShare.org.
