MITCHELL J. GRAY

AKWESASNE – Mitchell J. Gray, 49, of Sweet Flag Estates, unexpectedly passed away October 15, 2024 at his home.

Mitchell was born in Rochester on December 23, 1975, the son of Arnold Gray and the late Louise (White) Gray. He was raised in Akwesasne where he graduated from Salmon River Central School. He worked for a time for Charlie Lazore. Mitchell loved working on race cars and was a regular at Frogtown Speedway.

Mitchell is survived by his father, Arnold; his brother, Shannon Gray and Charles Gray, both of Akwesasne; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother on May 23, 2021.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where friends may call Monday 4-7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at St. Regis Catholic Church with Rev. Andrew Amyot, celebrating.
