MASSENA – Rochester Regional Health's St. Lawrence team is pleased to welcome Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Jessica Duhaime as its newest Obstetrics and Gynocology team member.
She is treating patients at Massena Hospital's Women's Health Clinic in the Casey Medical Office Building, 15 Hospital Drive, Massena. Furthermore, she will be providing services in the Maternity Unit at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, 50 Leroy Street, Potsdam.
Duhaime earned her Master's Degree in Nursing, Midwifery at Stony Brook University, Long Island, NY. She is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a National Diabetes Prevention Program Diabetic Educator, and a Childbirth Educator.
In addition to having served as a Registered Nurse, Duhaime comes to the St. Lawrence team with experience as a Nurse Manager/Women's Health Nurse Navigator, the Director of Perinatal Services and Women's Health, and the Clinical Lead in Labor & Delivery.
Duhaime noted she is excited to be working alongside the providers and team members in Massena and Potsdam.
"The North Country is my home. It is where I live, play, and work. I take great pride in the opportunity to care for the women here, as they are my neighbors, friends, and family," CNM Duhaime said.
In her medical role, Duhaime delivers babies, and provides healthcare and wellness to women. She helps her patients manage their labor, and monitors both the mom and baby during delivery.
