A Voice from the Eastern Door

Akwesasne Farmer's Market Harvest Festival

Last weekend's weather was spectacular and to match that Akwesasne Travel hosted Akwesasne Farmer's Market Harvest Festival at Generations Park on Saturday. The Travis Solomon Memorial Lacrosse Box was filled with over forty vendors with community members taking full advantage of a one-stop – shop for all things "Fall." They had baked goods – including fresh home baked bread, cookies, loaf breads, candies and more. Several vendors also sold Halloween decorations. Several local artists sold their original artwork. There's apple pressing, pumpkin painting, fresh cider and produce, and great vendors.

Tina Square, Farmers Market, said her and John Bonaparte wanted to give back to their regular market vendors and to give other vendor businesses an opportunity to join in the celebration of the end of the season for the 2024 Akwesasne Framer's Market.

Live music was performed by Atom Ghost at the Akwesasne Farmers Market's end-of-season celebration.
