ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old youth of St. Regis, Quebec, was arrested on Oct. 10, 2024, and charged with assault. It is alleged on Sept. 26, 2024, the youth assaulted another individual known to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Oct. 10, 2024, the youth attended police headquarters to address the matters. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
