Four Bridges Traveling Permaculture Institute and Slow Food Turtle Island Association

The Four Bridges Traveling Permaculture Institute will be holding a community meeting on Friday, October 11th, 4:00 pm at Sit-n-Bull Pavilion in Akwesasne to learn about their “Slow Food Turtle Island Association” and the work we started at the global Terra Madre conference in Italy last week.

The meeting is open to farmers, food producers, chefs, seed keepers and anyone who is interested in fair, clean, local food and preserving traditional foods and medicines.

There will be a meal of corn soup, corn bread and strawberry drink provided by Mona’s Catering, Ramona Shenandoah, and an exhibition hoop dance by champion hoop dancer Mitchell Shonkwaiataroroks Gray.
