The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne welcomed community members to join them for their Open House sessions this week. Their goal is for Akwesasronon to connect with MCA staff, explore their services, and win some amazing prizes.
Many of MCA program and services offered short surveys and questionnaires to better understand the needs of Akwesasronon and to gain a better understanding of your priorities.
The second MCA Open House was held on September 17 at the St. Regis Recreation Center from 10am to 1pm. The recreation center was packed with community members and MCA staff members offering program and service information.
The last of the three MCA Open House events will take place this Saturday, September 21 at the Tsi Snaihne Recreation Center from 10am to 1pm.
Each MCA Open House gave out free takeout meals for you and your family (while supplies last).
