Indian Time is looking for a part time 25 hrs. Office Manager to manage the daily operations of the local newspaper.
Job roles will include the following:
The Office Manager maintains the daily operations of non-profit newspaper through processing invoices, expenses and payroll using QuickBooks.
Maintaining record keeping and retention of documents according to GAAP practices.
Record keeping for grants and contracts of the organization, while researching new opportunities that align with the organizations future goals.
Maintaining employee records and involvement in hiring decisions.
Work with vendors and clients to build relationships with outside organizations to maintain the community support for Indian Time.
Qualifications:
Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks or other accounting systems.
1-3 years accounting or bookkeeping experience
1 to 3 years management experience.
Excellent Communication skill both verbal and written
Available to work Monday – Thursday
