Iesennakwenienstha Thomas received the Goalie of the Year award. Iesennakwenienstha ranked #1 out of all of the goalies in the Girls U13 division. Iesennakwenienstha had two shutouts during our time at provincials keeping our girls in the game. Coach Shania Francis said, "Congratulations we're immensely proud of you!!"

In mid-August, the Akwesasne Storm Boys Minor Lacrossee and the Akwesasne Storm Girls Minor Lacrosse headed to the Whitby, ON area for the 2024 Ontario Provincial Lacrosse games. The U13 Girls team brought home the gold – winning first place in Ontario. An Akwesasne Minor Lacrosse Association (AMLA) first for our girls teams.
At a banquet to honor the team, Coach Shania Francis said, "Thank you for all that you two have done this year. This year was a dream come true for the sport of girls lacrosse! Cheyenne and Rhonda (President AMLA) have done an excellent job at organizing each team. We couldn't have done it without you two magnificent ladies."
