Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Cannabis Control Board Revokes Green Reserve's Retail License for Fee and Reporting Violations

AKWESASNE – In an official communication, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Cannabis Control Program issues notice of the revocation of Green Reserve's retail cannabis license situated at 484 State Route 37. Green Reserve has violated Section 6.02 (2)(a), failure to remit tribal retail fees from March 2022 to present day. The suspension notice, served to the owner on August 19, 2024, signified the immediate suspension of the SRMT Cannabis license and no further attempts to remain in compliance have been made by the retailer.

This is the second retail cannabis store to have its license revoked this summer. In an official communication on July 30, 2024, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Cannabis Control Program issues notice of the revocation of King Canna's retail cannabis license situated at 18 Raquette Point Road. King Canna has violated Section 6.02 (2)(a), failure to remit tribal retail fees from December 2022 to present day, and Section 10 (03), failure to provide record of sales from December 2023 to present day. The suspension notice, served to the owner on January 12, 2024, signified the immediate suspension of the SRMT Cannabis license and since, no further attempts to remain in compliance have been made by the retailer.

Member-owned licensed properties that comply with tribal regulations play a crucial role in supporting programs that assist Tribal community members.
