Akwesasne Storm U11 Team 1 Zone 5 Champs, winning 7-0 against Gloucester Griffins. Coaching staff includes Lee Thomas, Brandon Swamp, Vaughn Harris, Tameka Thompson and Nikaiataa Skidders.
The Akwesasne Storm U13 Storm with Abby Bomberry who stopped by practice to help the boys prepare for their upcoming Super Six Series/OLA Final Six A Championship. U13 is heading to the Super Six Series in August.
As the Akwesasne Storm Minor Lacrosse season closes, several divisions came out on top. Zone 5 – U11 finished first in their division. The Under 13 Storm Womens Team also earned Zone 5 Champs. The U13 Storm are on their way to the Super Six Series. These boys battled game in and game out and finished the last day of A Qualifiers in 3rd place, beating Owen Sound 4-3.
Akwesasne Storm teams will head to the Ontario Provincial games in early August. This year's provincial lacrosse games will be played in Whitby, ON.
