Celebrate your favorite Farmers Market memories with GardenShare this August! In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Canton Farmers Market and this year’s National Farmers Market Week, GardenShare will be hosting a St. Lawrence County Farmers Market Photo Contest. Submissions will open Friday, August 2nd through GardenShare’s website and close Friday, August 23rd. A public vote will be open from Monday, August 26th through Friday August, 30th to select the winner of the contest! The winner will receive farmers market tokens usable at five markets throughout the county!
They hope this photo contest will give people the opportunity to reminisce about your favorite SLC farmers market memories and reflect on the role our farmers markets play in our community. The SLC Farmers Markets have created vital community spaces since the 1970s helping to foster cultural exchange, healthy living, and economic growth. Local markets enhance the quality of life for everyone in our community!
