Ottawa Redblacks Announce Second Annual Akwesasne Football Camp

The Ottawa Redblacks Football Team is announcing the 2024 Redblacks x Akwesasne Football Camp, hosted by University of Ottawa Gee-Gees Quarterback Ben Maracle. Ben is from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. Several players from the Ottawa Redblacks will also be present to provide football skills and drills.

The football camp is being organized in collaboration with the Ottawa Redblacks Football Team, University of Ottawa Gee-Gees, and the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH), Department of Community & Social Services (DCSS), Akwesasne Child & Family Services (ACFS), and Department of Economic Development.

The 2024 Redblacks x Akwesasne Football Camp will take place at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Youth ages 6 -16 are eligible to attend. Lunch will be provided for attendees. Please ensure your child has a water bottle to use for the day.

The registration form is available online by scanning the QR code in the flyer or visiting the link below. Physical copies of the registration form can also be printed and dropped off at the reception desk at the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility.

Deadline for registration is Tuesday, July 30 at 3:00 p.m.
