Iakhihsohtha Totas Rock the Runway

Our Totas strutted their stuff at Iakhihsohtha Lodge's Fabulous Fashion Show held on Saturday, June 27, at Iakhihsohtha Lodge. From 1920s chic to stunning traditional garb, they stole the show in every outfit. Each Tota was introduced to loud applause from the audience and thoroughly enjoyed the show and the spotlight.

The ACFS Traditional Support Unit and the staff at Iakhihsohtha made sure our cultural heritage was shined with gorgeous regalia. The elders and audience members enjoyed music and grooved along to performances by Magoo Cook and his dance troop and were entertained by emcee Benjamin Herne. Steven Thompson Oakes provided real star model power for the Totas as he escorted each Tota to the runway. He made sure all of the limelight shone on each Tota.

It was an incredible event for our Totas and for their families and friends.
