PROBATIONARY
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Operational Services, the Transportation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of AMBE’s school and fleet transportation vehicles. The Transportation Manager will play a critical role ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of students to and from school, as well as to extracurricular activities and field trips. The incumbent will manage AMBE’s fleet, route planning, dispatching, scheduling crisis management, communication, transportation compliance, and transportation staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate schedules, routes, and drivers effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration or related field;
2 years experience in a work related field;
OR
Post Secondary diploma in Transportation Management, Business Administration or related field;
4 years experience in a work related field;
Possess Class B or E license (or willing to obtain); and
Knowledge of an educational system is an asset.
