Nicole Sasha Garrow "Tekwatonti"

It is with great sadness to announce that Nicole Sasha Garrow, 47 of Akwesasne, suddenly passed on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Nicole was born on January 23, 1977 in Massena, NY, daughter of the Jessica Terrance and the late Dewey Garrow, Sr. She attended school at St. Regis Mohawk and graduated from Salmon River Central. She worked at Twinleaf Gas, T&D Enterprise, various cigarette factories and helped her cousin Misty with J Beans Lunch.

She was an avid gardener, and loved her plants, flowers and feeding her birds. She loved Halloween and dressing up with all the kids. She really enjoyed spending time with all her nieces and nephews.  Nicole was a child at heart, loved to play tricks, spoke her own language and always had the coolest sneakers. To know her was to love her.

Nicole is survived by her mother, Jessica Terrance; her daughter Zoe Gordon; her brothers Devon Garrow, and Dewey (Stephanie) Garrow II; nephews Hendrix, Dewey III, nieces Autumn and Gabriella; her Aunt Honeybee (Tommy Bear); uncles Bobby (Shirley), Alex (Minnie) and Ron (Diane); her dog Sambo; and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband Wesley Aaron Gordon on December 10, 2023; father Dewey Garrow I; maternal grandparents Sandra and Phillip Terrance; maternal great grandparents Jessie and Thomas Diebow; uncles Scotty (Tina) and Philly (Mary); her aunt Cindy (John); paternal grandparents, Alex and Agnes Garrow; uncles Sam (Dora) and Porky; and aunts Beverly, Debbie (Walter) and Rocky.

Friends may call at the Donaldson Funeral Home Thursday May 23rd, from 12 noon until the time of service at 4 PM. Jessica and family are currently accepting visitors at the family homestead on the Herne Road daily until 8PM.
