ASH WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2024 This year, Ash Wednesday falls on February 14th. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday. Lent lasts for 40 days. Ash Wednesday always falls six and half weeks before Easter. Lent ends with the start of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday. This year, Lent ends on March 28, 2024.EASTER FALLS ON SUNDAY, MARCH 31, 2024.

PREPARATION FOR ASH WEDNESDAY The holy season of Lent will begin on Ash Wednesday, February 14, 2024. The ashes that are blessed on Ash Wednesday are prepared by burning the old branches of blessed palm that were distributed last year on Palm Sunday. If you have palms that we could use for ashes, please bring them to Church with you and place them in the specially marked box at the entrance. The deadline is FEBRUARY 11, 2024. NIAWEN:KOWA.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The St. Regis Mission food pantry is located at the rear of the Rectory. Access is via the rear parking lot ONLY. Hours are Thursday – Friday 9am to 1pm ONLY.
