ASH WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2024 This year, Ash Wednesday falls on February 14th. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday. Lent lasts for 40 days because Christ suffered in the desert for 40 days. Ash Wednesday always falls six and half weeks before Easter. Lent ends with the start of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday. This year, Lent ends on March 28, 2024.Easter falls on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
MASS INTENTION REQUESTS – IMPORTANT NOTICE: Anyone requesting Mass Intentions for their loved ones and family members are reminded that requests must be made at least one to two months in advance of a desired date or memorial anniversary. Please contact Verda Tarbell for bookings on Wednesday-Friday 9am to 1pm at 613-575-2753.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The St. Regis Mission food pantry is located at the rear of the Rectory. Access is via the rear parking lot ONLY. Hours are Thursday – Friday 9am to 1pm ONLY.
