Johnson, Swamp Named Potsdam Athletes of the Week - Nov 19 - Nov 26, 2023

POTSDAM – Junior guard MeSean Johnson (Ogdensburg, N.Y./Ogdensburg Free Academy) and graduate student assistant captain Taylor Swamp (Akwesasne, N.Y./St. Lawrence Steel) have been named SUNY Potsdam Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 26.

Johnson had 16 points and 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season as Potsdam beat SUNY Canton 76-71. He also tallied five assists and three steals for the Bears.

Swamp assisted the first goal for Potsdam in their 4-1 win over Trine University. She then continued to be crucial on the ice as Swamp tipped a shot past the goalie for a power play goal.
