ADVENT 2023: Advent 2023 begins Sunday, DECEMBER 3. Celebrating Advent well requires preparation in advance. The Diocese of Ogdensburg Family Life Office posts resources and tips to help families with their celebration of Advent. ADVENT 2023 Advent kicks off on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve on December 24. This year, it will be observed from December 3 to December 24. The First Sunday theme is HOPE, the Second Sunday theme is PEACE, the Third Sunday theme is JOY and the Fourth Sunday theme is LOVE. The theme for Advent 2023 is Christ Brings Hope to the Broken World.
