A Voice from the Eastern Door
The Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library invite all readers, book club members and
book lovers to our Book Lovers Celebration on Saturday, October 28th from 12:00 to
2:30 pm in the Auditorium (upstairs) of the Ogdensburg Public Library at 312 Washington
Street in Ogdensburg.
You are cordially invited to a celebration of reading and a presentation by regional author
Peggy (Marguerite) Mooers. Peggy worked as a teacher in a medium security prison in
upstate New York before retiring to write murder mysteries. You can learn more about
her and her writing at the website: www.margueritemooers.com Peggy’s books are for
sale at Pickens Hall in Heuvelton and Artworks Creperie in Waddington.
Some of her book titles are: Casualty of Hope; The Lies That He Told; The Girl in the
Woods; The Shelter of Darkness and The Whistleblower, just to name a few! Come and
meet the author and get your copy signed! She will also have some books for sale after
the Book Lovers Celebration.
This celebration will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 12 pm through
2:30 pm in the Auditorium of the Ogdensburg Public Library at 312 Washington Street,
Ogdensburg, New York.

Admission is $5 per person to offset the cost of the luncheon. Come join us! We will
have games, time to visit, door prizes, Peggy’s presentation and books for sale, along
