Salary: $50,250 per year

Summary: Under direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Fiscal Officer will be responsible for account oversight, determine how funds are spent by adhering to funding source requirements for the properties owned and managed by the Mohawk Indian Housing Corporation and Hogansburg Housing Development Fund Company, Inc. Incumbent will be responsible to cover contracts, budgets, payroll reports, taxes, vouchers and audits.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work purposes.

Position requires a background check for employment purposes.

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Minimum 2 years Accounting or Business School degree/certificate.

Must have aptitude and skills in computer programs, emphasis on QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Possess strong communication skills (written and verbal), must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Must be organized, detail oriented, and innovative.

Incumbent will be required to become familiar with the rules and regulations of US Department of HUD financial recordkeeping and report writing.
