A Voice from the Eastern Door

The passing of Troy was a sad time and a terrible loss for many people. I want to thank those who were there to help the family and me send Troy on his journey. I want to thank Hospice of the North Country, Canton/Potsdam Cancer Center, Tri-Lakes Medical Center, UVM and Donaldsons Funeral Home for taking such great care of Troy. I definitely could not have done this without the Saint Boys (Dwayne, Grid, Owen, Mikey and Stevie). You all showed the true meaning of love and family. Your support was effortless and appreciated wholeheartedly. I would especially like to thank my girls Akat (Ida), Rena, Valerie, Michelle and Shawna for all the support before and after. Also thank you Alice "Akat's mother", it was very comforting to have you taking care of my home and being here for Troy and the family. A big shout out to his brothers from Oswego and the Boilermakers brotherhood who came to see Troy one last time. Thank you to all who donated food, water, paper products, money and took the time to pay their respects. There are no words to express the loss that we have endured, but the transition was made easier by the love and care that was shown at this time.

Much love and appreciation

Stacy Skidders and family
