Brian Steven White "Towisonte"

WHITE, Brian Steven "Towisonte" ~ it is with great heartbreak the family announces his passing on Monday, July 17, 2023 at the age of 56 years young.

He will be forever missed by his mother Rebecca (née Hopps) White as he joins his late father Bruce White.

Cherished partner of Margaret Ransom and proud father of Kawennahente "Tanisha" (Scott Duciame), Atenharishon "Tristen" (Kawi Lazore), Iatshetaronnion "Landon", Ranhontsiio "Kyzik" along with his grandchildren Niionatà:a "Aurie Thompson, Asennaienton "Aydrien Thompson and Harper Thomas.

Treasured brother of April White of Akwesasne, Veronica White of Las Vegas, Lance White of Akwesasne, and Miranda Gabriel of Kanesatake.

He will be fondly remembered by his many niece and nephews, Aunties and Uncles.

Brian will be missed by his best friends; Vinny, Josh, Peter, Gordon, Stacey, Jason, Darcy and joins his friend the late Melvin Thompson.

Brian had an infectious smile and always willing to lend a hand. He will be fondly remembered by his friends and colleagues at Station 2 Hogansburg Volunteer Fire Department, along with all who knew him. His kindness will never be forgotten.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482).

Resting was at the Fire Station 2 located at 720 Island Road Akwesasne, ON from 2:00 p.m. Friday July 21, 2023 until time of Traditional words of acknowledgement of the passing of Brian. Traditional words took place at the Fire Station 720 Island Road Akwesasne, ON on Sunday July 23, 2023.
