EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT

Salary: PSAC Salary Grid

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Classroom Teacher, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring a safe environment

for all students. The Educational Assistant will assist the classroom teacher with academic and social

support for all students.

Qualifications:

• 2 year Post Secondary Diploma in a related field;

• 1 year experience working with children;

OR

• Secondary School Diploma;

• 2-3 years’ experience working with children.
