A Voice from the Eastern Door
SLC Arts invites students from across the county to register for their 6-week Teen Summer Arts Camp in Potsdam! This program is made possible through funding from the St. Lawrence County Youth Bureau. Students may register online at slcartscouncil.org/education.
The Teen Summer Arts Camp will run from July 10th to August 18th, Monday-Friday. Morning sessions will run from 9 to 12 pm and afternoon sessions will run from 12 to 3 pm. Registration is $75/week for a morning or afternoon session, or $150/week for both. Need-based scholarships are available, and more information regarding applications can be found on the registration page.
Week 1 (July 10-14): Graphic Design (AM) instructed by Felicity Sarsfield & Video and Digital Media (PM) instructed by Elijah Shatraw
Week 2 (July 17-21): Drawing (AM) instructed by Lisa Dashnaw & Ceramics (PM) instructed by Andrew Norrell
Week 3 (July 24-28): Starting a Band 101 (AM) instructed by Mark Lyon & Music Improv (PM) instructed by Josh Barkley
Week 4 (July 31-Aug 4): Singer-Songwriter (AM) instructed by Jae Dani & Music Confidence (PM) instructed by Josh Barkley
Week 5 (Aug 7-11): Creative Writing (AM) instructed by Rebecca Donnelly & Poetry (PM) instructed by Amanda Goldstein
Week 6 (Aug 14-18): Theatre Design (AM) instructed by Liza Paige & Acting (PM) instructed by Jade Varney
