Le Théâtre de L'Amalgame Presents its 14th Production

Le Théâtre de L’Amalgame is thrilled to present its fourteenth production since its creation in 2006 “La visite ou surtout, sentez-vous pas obligés de venir” - The visit or above all, do not feel obliged to come.

The comedy by Robert Bellefeuille and Michel Marc Bouchard is directed by Mario Sarda, assisted by Ginette Girard. A couple recounts three memorable days during which, ten years apart, they received visitors. Their experience is illustrated in three “books” - The Art of Receiving, The Art of Perceiving and The Art of Disappointing - the joys and pangs caused by these visitors reveal the “circus that is the human condition.” A gritty comedy about social mores,

manners and reclaiming the right to solitude.

There are three performances left that will be presented at Saint-Lawrence High School at 1450 Second Street East, Cornwall, ON May 12 and 13, 2023 at 7 p.m. May 7 and a matinee presentation on Sunday 14, 2023 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available via L’Amalgame des arts de la langue française et du Théâtre (lamalgamedesarts.ca)or by calling 613-362-0931.

Tickets will also be available at the door, one hour before the shows at 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
