AKWESASNE- Thomas T. Ranenstahronkwas Debo, 62, of 848 River Road, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home.
Thomas was born on October 4, 1960 in Syracuse, son of the late Louis A. and Carol (Palmer) Debo. After graduation, he served in the US Army stationed in Alaska.
He worked for the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe as an Air Quality Technician and then for Mohawk Council of Akwesasne as the Computerized Maintenance Management System Coordinator with the Department of in the Department of Infrastructure, Housing and Environment. He loved to play poker and chess, online and in person, and enjoyed cooking and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Thomas is survived by his two sons Thomas Debo (Jessie Lafrance) and Rawirisaks Debo, his wife, Aimee Benedict and stepson, Darryl Mitchell, all of Akwesasne; his siblings Noreen, Katherine, Dave, Louie, Peter and Sherry (James) Bowden all of Syracuse. Many nieces and nephews will dearly miss him. Tom was looking forward to the birth of his granddaughter, Kyeia in June.
He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Carol and brother, Jerry.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 31st at 31 Madison Village / Clubhouse, 7330 Landsend Lane, Liverpool, NY 13090.
