Tom Porter and the Spring Equinox

"Mother Earth came to me and I heard her voice speak Mohawk to me and this is what she said......."My children have forgotten about me. She said if you want to, I'm not forcing you or coercing you or making you but if you want, on the two days of the year when the day and the night are equal, one is not longer than the other, do not drive your car, do not use your tractor or anything. Start a fire in the early morning, burn tobacco, stay home with your family and cook a meal together and just be together. Then again at night, have that fire and burn tobacco again. This is what will bring my children back to me, their mother, the earth. This is what will make them remember me."

I later found out that those two days when the day and night are equal is called the EQUINOX and it's coming up soon (March 20th). So "IF YOU WANT" you can do this for our Mother, The Earth"
