A Voice from the Eastern Door

Thank You Letter

Thank You Letter

"Onkwe would like to encourage our people to continue planting seeds every day in every encounter that you have. Continue to build relationships with one another. Whether that be in ceremony, in the garden, gathering and harvesting medicines. Take that medicine and plant those same seeds in the minds of the children. That is why we continue everyday learning to be on the land back with our Iethinisténha Ohón:tsia. And always with the next seven generations in mind.

Remember the relationship of the Three Sisters and how they depend on one another and grow and thrive together with one love. Gratitude will continue to sustain us"

Onkwe would like to take this time to acknowledge the following members who helped us achieve our goals in the garden this year, making it plentiful and a safe place to go and a place to share with the community. Whether it be working in the garden, donating your land, holding workshops, monetary donations, or volunteering your time. It does not go unnoticed and we are grateful to you."
