WARRANTS

 Cornwall, ON – Michelle David, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on November 29th, 2022 on the strength of multiple warrants. It is alleged on February 23rd, 2022, the woman failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and further failed to attend court on April 14th, 2022 for a fraud offence. It is further alleged on September 10th, 2022, the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as she left the store. Police were contacted and warrants were issued for her arrest. During a traffic stop on November 29th, 2022 the woman allegedly used a false name to identify to police. She was charged accordingly, and the warrants were executed. The woman was held in custody to await a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Dante David, 24 of Akwesasne was arrested on November 30th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend for fingerprints on April 1st, 2022 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On November 30th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on January 12th, 2023.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Douglas Bienkowski, 32, of Akwesasne was arrested on November 30th, 2022 and charged with breach of release order for failing to remain in his residence at all times and possessing a device with internet. It is alleged on November 30th, 2022, the man was located outside of his residence and in possession of a cell phone, despite his conditions. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
