Aspen Robertson

ROBERTSON, Aspen ~ Tragically on Saturday September 24, 2022 at the young age of 21 years.

Treasured son of Frank Robertson and Sheryl Thompson, and cherished brother of Kiana (Frank Tarbell) and Gardyn Robertson and chosen brother Matteas Thompson and chosen sisters Martika Smoke-Thompson, Harvest and Faith Farrell.

He will be forever loved by his Aunts and Uncles; Darrell Thompson (Allyson), Vince Thompson (Gina), Melvin Thompson, Dewey Thompson (Britt), Barry Thompson (Brenda), George Robertson (Kyla), John Robertson (Marie), Jimmy Robertson (Cathy), Kathleen Robertson (Melvin), Joey Robertson, Louie Robertson (Pamela), Judy Dell Mayo and his aunties Eileen Rourke, Barbara Smoke and chosen Uncle DJ White (Krista), chosen aunties Yolanda Cook (Buck) and Kahontineh Swamp.

Aspen will be sadly missed by his Great Uncle Donnie White and Great Aunties Charlotte Thompson (Richard), Judy Swamp (late Jake) and Pauline Oliver (John), along with his many cousins, relatives, extended family and by his treasured friends.

Predeceased by his grandparents Louis and Idrene Thompson and Joseph and Thomasine Robertson along with his uncles Randy Robertson, Roderick (Roddy) Thompson, Clayton Thompson and his cousins Chiara Smoke-Thompson, Trista Thompson and Angelina Onyx Thompson. Great Aunties Clara White, Madeline David (late Ross), Florence David (late Jack), Cecelia Point and Great Uncle Percy Point (late Karen).

Aspen was an incredible young man loved by so many. Aspen was far from ordinary, with his beautiful soul. When asked, friends and family had many fond memories and qualities to share.

He was known to have one of the biggest souls, gentle, kind and caring. He could light up a room with his infectious smile and laughter. He was a trendsetter amongst his friends, confident and supportive and always there to all who knew him.

Aspen was easy to talk to, very creative and extremely comfortable with who he was, and the path he was to take. He wanted to make a difference and he surely did with all the lives he touched.

Visitation was held at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) The Funeral Service was held on Friday September 30, 2022, in the Ceremonial Room of the funeral home with the burial that followed at the Long House Cemetery, located on Lillian's Way, Kawehnoke.
