MCA Environment Notice

The St. Lawrence River was named an area of concern due to environmental harm and poor water quality in the 1980's. With that, an environmental plan was created to clean up the river. A recent report indicates that water quality has vastly improved at area beaches, and the local St. Lawrence River Restoration Council is recommending that these beaches be labeled "not impaired".
