Kawehno:ke Recreation Committee Donates to AMS

With the start of the 2022-2023 school year the Kawehno:ke Recreation committee steps up to the plate and donates a wide variety of sports equipment and board games to AMS to be available to the students during recess.

The Kawehno:ke Recreation committee encourages and promotes team play and positive participation among the students. Our donation includes basketballs, soccer balls, volley balls, foot balls, jump ropes, sidewalk chalk, hopscotch rings, Frisbee, catch ball sets, rubber balls, paddle sets etc., and a wide variety of board games. These recreational sports supplies / games are being provided to each of the 18 classrooms at AMS to ensure that all students have opportunity to have recreational sports supplies / various board games available for their use

during recess.

The Kawehno:ke Recreation committee is hopeful that the students enjoy the donation of various sports equipment and board games allowing the students to participate in positive team play resulting in role models for positive team spirit.
