Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort 2022 Scholarship Awards

Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort held a recognition and appreciation luncheon on July 28th, 2022 for three (3) High School students and (4) College Interns. AMCR mentored and trained (4) four Akwesasronon students for the past 10 weeks. Jheri White, Autumn Benedict, Donovan Lauzon, Carter Benedict spent their summer working for Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort. The interns received mentoring and coaching by members of the management team. The interns received marketable work experience that can be used to add to their resume. We extend thanks and appreciation for your contribution and hard work with AMCR.

AMCR recognized recent High School Scholarship recipients and they are:

Ross Oakes, graduate of Salmon River major in Criminal Justice at Onondaga Community College

Katrina Conners, graduate of Salmon River Central School major in Accounting at Sienna College

Mackenzie Garrow, graduate of Massena Central High School, major in Political Science at Nazareth College

Our speakers gave inspiring messages to these young adults to help guide them through the journeys to come. Speakers included. Scott Freeman General Manager, Craig Fuller, Senior Director of Casino Operations, Michael Conners Jr. Chief St. Regis Mohawk Tribe.
