TRAVIS R. "ATSENHAIENTON" TERRANCE

AKWESASNE- Travis R. "Atsenhaienton" Terrance unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

Travis was born on December 16, 1998, in Cornwall, son of George Terrance and Karen (Ransom) Terrance. He attended Mohawk and Massena schools. He worked at a Recycling Plant in Kanesatake, Quebec, and most recently worked for Adams Construction.

He loved fast cars and guns. He enjoyed hunting and was gifted mechanically and loved working on his cars. He also loved gathering with his friends and playing video games.

Travis is survived by his father, George (Sabrina) Terrance; his mother Karen Terrance; his companion Seanna Jacobs; his two children, Zariyah Jacobs Terrrance and Gatlyn Hazel Gabriel; four siblings, Kristian Terrance, Thomas Terrance, Ashley Martin and Dillon Martin; his paternal grandmother Debra Connors; his maternal grandparents, Ivan & Delores Ransom, his step grandmother Hazel "Honeybee" Terrance; his Godparents Gary & Tina Gabriel; his faithful dog Charlie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his oldest sister Randi Peters in infancy; and his paternal grandfather Thomas "Tommy Bear" Terrance.

Friends called at the Family Homestead, 45 McGee Road, beginning Monday at 2:00 pm until Tuesday 2:00 pm. There was a Funeral Mass held Tuesday at 3:00 pm at the St. Regis Catholic Church with Rev. Jerome Pastores celebrating. Burial followed at the St. Joseph's Cemetery, Akwesasne.

Donations may be made in Travis' memory to the Hogansburg Akwesasne Volunteer Fire Department.
