WARRANT, OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED

Cornwall, ON – Steven Hopps, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on May 18th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with operation while prohibited. It is alleged on February 21st, 2022, the man took a cell phone from someone known to him, without their permission, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is further alleged on May 11th, 2022, the man had been operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so. On May 18th, 2022, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant. The warrant was executed, and he was released to appear in court on June 23rd, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Nina Rourke, 23, of Cornwall, was arrested on the strength of a warrant on May 19th, 2022. It is alleged that on March 20th, 2022, the woman was operating her vehicle in the Brookdale Avenue area at a high rate of speed. Police intercepted the vehicle and the woman failed to stop. An investigation ensued and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 19th, 2022, the woman was taken into custody at the Port of Entry. The warrant was executed, and she was released to appear in court on June 23rd, 2022.
