Dance/NYC's Coronavirus Dance Relief Fund: New York State Edition

Hayden Haynes from the Seneca Nation is currently helping with outreach with Dance/NYC’s Coronavirus Dance Relief Fund: New York State Edition. Hayden understands that the vast majority of those receiving information on Creatives Rebuild New York Artist Outreach Corp., are not dancers nor have specific relationships to dance organizations. However, it is his hope that you might know someone in your family, community or Nation that is a dancer, and could benefit from these opportunities. Below is some info about the two programs.

Creatives Rebuild New York (CRNY), Artist Outreach Corp Applications are now open for Tier II: Organizations and Groups.

Tier I for individual dance makers closed on April 20, 2022, if more than 1500 applications are received prior to this date.

Tier II for organizations and groups is open and will close on May 4, 2022, 6:00 pm EST.

Dance/NYC plans on distributing a total of $150,000 to 100 individual dance makers.

A webinar about the application, along with slides, has been made available on their website to assist prospective applicants. The webinar also includes ASL interpretation and closed captions. Visit Dance.NYC for webinar details.
