Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the School Principal, the incumbent will provide instruction/support to all students under his/her charge following the prescribed Kanieńkehá curriculum guidelines; maintain lesson plans and long range instructional plans; develop and implement a sound timetable of daily instructional assignments; establish high standards for pupil behavior and academic growth; prepare reports on attendance, conduct and program; be aware of the needs of the school learner; be able to work as part of a team in a challenging but rewarding environment; and perform any other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any field;

Has Kanieńkehá language;

Teaching experience is an asset OR;

High School with 2 years Language training;

Has Kanien’ke:ha language;

Teaching experience is an asset
