FULL-TIME INDEFINITE POSITION 3-YEAR TERM POSITION AKWESASNE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL SERVICES
Salary Level: CUPE Start Rate $55,636.00
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Case Management Unit Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the protection of children and for providing support to children taken into care, for preparation of court documents, attendance and participation in court proceedings and is well versed and knowledgeable of both Ontario and Quebec legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Social Work, or BA in related field
Minimum (2) year work experience in social work required
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge and familiar with Ontario and Quebec legislation and regulations
Demonstrate high level of skills in assessments, case planning and ongoing intervention.
Ability to communicate verbally and write clear, concise reports and other administrative requirements.
