FCPH Notice to Public - COVID-19 Vaccination Options in Franklin County

COVID-19 vaccines are effective at protecting people from getting seriously ill and being hospitalized. CDC recommends that everyone ages 5 years and older get their primary series of COVID-19 vaccine, and everyone ages 12 years and older also receive a booster shot. COVID-19 vaccine is free to all.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics will be held on April 5th and April 24th from 3pm-6pm.

Franklin County Public Health

355 W. Main Street, Malone

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics held weekly on Monday and Wednesday from 10am-2pm.

Vaccine type: Pfizer and Moderna. (Moderna is in limited supply.)

How to schedule: Call 518 481-1712 for an appointment. There is no registration link for

these clinics.

Vaccine Eligibility:

Pfizer: Ages 5-11, a series of 2 shots given three weeks apart.

A booster shot for this age group is not recommended at this time.

Moderately to severely immunocompromised 5-11-year-olds may receive a third dose at least 28 days after the initial 2-dose series is completed.

Pfizer: 12 years and older, a series of two shots given 3-8 weeks apart.

A booster shot is recommended at least 5 months after the completed series.

Moderately to severely immunocompromised people may receive a third dose at least 28 days after the initial 2-dose series is completed.

Moderna: 18 years and older, a series of two shots given 4-8 weeks apart.

A booster shot is recommended at least 5 months after the series is completed.

Moderately to severely immunocompromised people may receive a third dose at least 28 days after the initial 2-dose series is completed.
