KAINE SKYLAR COOK-LAZORE

AKWESASNE – After only three days on this earth, Kaine Skylar Cook-Lazore peacefully went back to the Spirit World while in the loving arms of his parents, Jessica Cook and Stacey Lazore on Sunday evening, October 3, 2021 at his home. Kaine was born on Thursday, September 30th at Alice Hyde Medical Center with his family knowing that his time with them would be short, but he proved to have a strong spirit, coming home with the love and care of his family and Hospice of the North Country surrounding him.

Kaine is survived by his parents Jessica and Stacey; his maternal grandparents, Sonia Delormier and Bernard "Barney" and Valerie Cook; his paternal grandfather, Rayne Lazore; and his paternal step-grandmother, JoAnne King. He is also survived by his siblings, Hailey and Isaac Cook, Jada Lee Thompson (Joel Jocko), Emily Trumble, Macey Thompson, and Shady Thompson and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by a brother, Baby Blue Thompson in infancy and his paternal grandmother, Rosemary Mangan Mitchell.

Friends and family may support his family during calling hours at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena on Wednesday 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3 - 5:00 PM with a traditional funeral ceremony being held at 5:00 PM.

His family kindly asks that memorial contributions may be made to Akwesasne Freedom School or Sewakwatho in lieu of sending floral tributes.
