Local Ice Cream Truck Loved by All

Lately, everyone in Akwesasne has seen or is impatiently waiting to see the 'Ice Cream Truck". It was first seen late Monday afternoon driving slowly on Racquette Point and later in St. Regis. On Tuesday evening they were in Tsi Snaihne. As a way to introduce themselves to Akwesasne – 'R – Sons Ice Cream' – was generously given out ice cream for free.

Owner Cheyenne Cole said they are still working on a regular schedule to cover all of Akwesasne and you can follow R – Sons Ice Cream on Snap Chat to find their locationor call 315-600-6554. They will be on the road selling ice cream from 4pm to 8pm each Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

While great things like this don't last forever – it was a wonderful way to introduce themselves to Akwesasne and bring smiles to everyone along the way.
