Nominations were held on Saturday, July 24 for the Akwesasne Membership Board in the districts of Kawehno:ke and Tsi Snaihne.

District of Kawehnoke 4-year term:

Patricia Lazore Bova nominated by Erin Seymour seconded by Roy Delormier

Joanne Jocko nominated by Donna Delormier seconded by Elizabeth Benedict

District of Tsi Snaihne 4-year term:

Connie Lazore nominated by Lucille Jacobs seconded by Paige Jacobs

Vincenette Cook nominated by Robin Lazore seconded by Paula Jacobs

A By Election will be held on Saturday August 21, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:

Tsi Snaihne at the Tsi Snaihne Recreation Center

Kawehnoke at the Kawehnoke Recreation Center

Advance Polls will be held on Tuesday August 17, 2021 by appointment only.
