A Voice from the Eastern Door
On behalf of my family, I would like to thank all the people involved for the sendoff for my son James “Jimmy” Schultz. My mom Sandra Lazore, my surviving children Brandon Bigtree, Christopher Schultz, Joseph Coffey, and Julie Ladue. All have had a difficult time as to be expected. The help of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne and the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. Also, the Travelling College allowing their facility and grounds for the dinner. Red Oak Farm for the horses. And the retired Social workers that all loved and knew Jimmy well. Ida Cameron for the beautiful clothes. Carrie Jacobs, Everett Lazore SRMT. Dana Leigh & Larry Thompson for the food. Betty Reymond and Daughter Tara who also were Jimmy’s parent and sister. And all the pictures of Jimmy from Tara Reymond and Stephanie Pierce Lazore. We will be forever grateful to Akwesasne who have helped us begin our journey as a family to heal.
