On 06-22-2021 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Eugene R. Santos 72 of Lyon Mountain, NY for speed in zone 71-55 mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 07-08-2021.

On 06-22-2021 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Henry G. Laffin 71 of Hogansurg, NY for reckless driving and speed in zone 61-35 mph zone. Tickets are returnable to Tribal Court on 07-08-202.

On 06-22-2021 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Daniel B. Thompson 22 of Hogansburg, NY for speed in zone 73-55mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 07-08-2021.

WARRANT, POSSESSION OF A SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE, TRAFFICK IN A SCHEDULE I SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Jocko-Sylvester, 47, of Cornwall was arrested on June 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant for a theft offence at a Second Street business on June 5th, 2021. He was also charged with possession of a Schedule I substance (methamphetamine) and traffic in a schedule I substance (methamphetamine). On June 3rd, 2021, the Cornwall Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police executed a series of search warrants in the City of Cornwall as part of Project Sunrise. During the search of one of the involved residences, the man was located with a quantity of methamphetamine pills. On June 28th, 2021, police located the man and took him into custody on the strength of the warrant. He was further charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 7th, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Karina David, 30, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 26th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her conditional sentence order and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 26th, 2021, she was taken into custody while stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and executed the warrant. The woman was subsequently held in custody to await a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Tekaritha George, 22, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 27th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on June 27th, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol when she was stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 9th, 2021.
