ST. REGIS MASS INTENTIONS JUNE10, 2021 TO JUNE 16, 2021

The church and chapel are open for private prayer ONLY UNTIL JUNE 26TH, 2021. There will be private masses in the chapel for the intention of the day Tuesdays - Fridays. These masses ARE LIMITED TO 4 PERSONS ONLY. Weekend masses for the month of June 2021 will be at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Center for a MAXIMUM OF 36 PERSONS including clergy and volunteers. ALL current COVID-19 mandatory restrictions apply: social distancing, sign in, wearing mask, COVID screening and temperature checks as per SRMT-EOC guidance.

RETIREMENT OF SISTER MARY CHRISTINE TAYLOR On the First Sunday of Easter, April 24, 1949, Sister Mary Christine Taylor knelt before the altar at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Watertown to be consecrated to God as a religious Sister of St. Joseph. Sister Mary Christine over 70 years has been one of Christ’s instruments to spread His Love to thousands of souls in the Diocese of Ogdensburg. On June 1, 2021 Sister Mary Christine retired. We offer congratulations and a heartfelt NIAWEN: KOWA to Sister Christine for her dedication to the community of Akwesasne and to the St. Regis Mission Church over the decades. Much joy and love to Sister Mary Christine in her retirement. She will be greatly missed.
