TSI SNAIHNE SCHOOL AND KANA:TAKON SCHOOL

TO RETURN TO REMOTE LEARNING MODEL OF INSTRUCTION

Tsi Snaihne School will return to the Remote Learning model of instruction due to a confirmed case of Covid-19 beginning on May 4, 2021. A significant number of Kana:takon School students have siblings that attend Tsi Snaihne School therefore as a precaution both schools will transition to remote learning for a two week period. If no additional Covid-19 cases are confirmed, the tentative return to the Hybrid model of instruction for both schools is May 17, 2021.

Everyone must continue to follow screening protocols. As a reminder if you or anyone in your house exhibits even one of the symptoms below, you must remain home from school or work and be symptom free for 72 hours before returning.

Fever >37.8 C or 100.04 F New onset of cough Worsening chronic cough Shortness of breath Difficulty breathing

Sore throat Difficulty swallowing

Decrease or loss of sense of taste or smell Chills

Headaches

Unexplained fatigue/malaise/muscle aches (myalgias) Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain

Pink eye (conjunctivitis)

Runny nose/nasal congestion without a known cause
