Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Police Blotter 03/25/21:

On 03-21-2021 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police arrested Ryan B. White 36 of Hogansburg, NY for unlawful imprisonment 2nd degree-class a misdemeanor and endangering the welfare of a child class a misdemeanor. Mr. White was released on appearance tickets returnable to Bombay Town Court on 04-06-2021.

On 03-22-2021 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Aaron C. Lamb 26 of Massena, NY for operate motor vehicle causing accident. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 04-08-2021.

On 03-23-2021 Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Michael G. Gardner 21 of Hogansburg, NY for speed in zone 60-35 mph zone. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on 04-15-2021

Warrant

Cornwall, ON – Sydney Oakes, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on March 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on March 11th, 2021 for a theft offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 28th, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on June 1st, 2021.

Warrant

Cornwall, ON – Tacala Buckshot, 36, of Akwesasne was arrested on March 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on March 25th, 2021 for a personation offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 28th, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant while stopped at the Port of Entry. Police attended and executed the warrant and she was subsequently released to appear in court on June 10th, 2021.

Causing a Disturbance, Assault Police, Resist Police, Obstruct Police, Breach

Cornwall, ON – Mariah Major, 28, and Martika Smoke-Thompson, 30, both of Cornwall, were arrested on March 24th, 2021 and each charged with causing a disturbance, assaulting police, resisting police and breach of undertaking. Martika Smoke-Thompson was also charged with obstructing police. It is alleged on March 24th, 2021, the two women were causing a disturbance by yelling and screaming in a public place. Police were subsequently contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, a struggle ensued, in which both women assaulted two police officers while resisting arrest. They were subsequently taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Marion Adams, 65, of Akwesasne was arrested on March 30th, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an altercation on March 30th, the woman struck someone she did not know and police were contacted to investigate.  During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 10th, 2021.
