SNYE REC HELPS COMMUNITY KEEP AWAY THE WINTER BLUES

Winter Blues Bingo started on January 4th and ended on February 4th. Players received 3-on’s then had to play R – E – C and on the last card play on for a coverall. 35 numbers were called and then one number each evening at 6 p.m. Cards were free and distributed from the Recreation Center prior to the bingo starting. Congratulations to the following winners:

Penny Peters made the letter “E” winning $300.00

Laura Thomas made the letter “C” winning $300.00

Rosalie Herne and KC Herne split the pot for making the letter “R”, each received $150.00

Leonee Mitchell and Johanne Jackson were the cover all winners, each received $250.00

VALENTINES GIVEAWAY’S

Two jars were filled with candy and community members were asked to guess the amount of candy in the jar without going over. Our winner for the cinnamon Heart Jar was Danielle Oakes who guessed 2021, along with four others. Her name was drawn, and this was determined prior to the draw. If there was a tie, we would do a random draw to determine the winner. She received the jar of candy along with the Visa Gift Card.

The second jar had Heart Jellybeans and the winner was Wendy Thompson who guessed right on 464. She received the candy and also $150.00 Visa Gift Card for guessing the correct number.

Then we also had people post their favorite conversation heard saying, a random draw was done, and the following people received Valentine Chocolates along with a Visa Gift Card:
